Hand Carved Canoe Yoke
This deep dish style yoke is made of solid walnut so it's very strong and extremely comfortable. A GREAT upgrade over a flat yoke for anyone who portages or carries their canoe alone. 39 inch overall length can easilly be trimmed to perfectly fit your canoe. First, remove your old yoke and center it on top of the new yoke, then scribe equal amount to be trimmed off each end. Place new yoke under gunwale and drill mounting holes using those in gunwale as a guide. Old hardware may be used to attach new yoke in same manner (except for aluminum canoes -new hardware required). Oil finish. UV-resistant. Adds instant class to any canoe on looks alone.

Removable Yoke Hardware Kit.
This Hardware kit allows you to use brackets to securely mount one of our wood yokes but it is also quickly removable. The larger yoke bracket is bolted to the yoke and then the smaller gunwale bracket is bolted or rivited to the gunwale. The two brackets are held together by the pin. Gunwale bracket can be oriented horizontally or vertically depending on gunwale shape.
