This is our customer's favorite rental paddle for many years. Beginners like these because they are symmetrical; there is no right-side up or up-side down. There's even a HDPE grip surface over the entire shaft for sure handling.
We like them because they're hard to break and cheap. Made in USA.
Compare our's with those at the box store which are easy to break and cheap. Small wonder; Box store paddles are designed, manufactured and sold by NON-paddlers! We're not trying to say this is the best paddle ever but it's not going to crack in the first 30 minutes either!

Blades: Reinforced with glass fibers, SF is the strongest material available in its price/weight class. An excellent choice for a lower-cost touring paddle that still delivers that great Lendal performance. Durable enough for all touring and general-purpose applications or wildernes trips.

Shaft: The Lendal FG shaft sets the standard for fiberglass performance touring shafts. Light in weight, it also has excellent breaking strength, and enough flex to help prevent joint problems, but not so much that it wastes stroke energy. This shaft has the SwitchLok center joint which can be easilly adjusted from zero to ninety degree offset using the Paddlok wrench. There is also default setting at sixty degrees offset.
