We are introducing a new format for our kids ski camp this year. The NASTC Kids program is one of the best ski improvement programs fo recreational skiers in the country. Our goal is to offer kids a high caliber level of instruction. We give kids the tools they need to succeed on the mountain in a safe and fun environment. The course will increase confidence levels, build technique, and touch on mountain savvy and life long learning in our beautiful surroundings. Skiing is a sport that helps a child's focus, self-esteem, self-reliance, coordination, and decision-making abilities. It provides very tangible, in -the-moment goals, and in that way, allows a great feeling of accomplishment. It is an individual sport that gives children solo time to process alone, but it can also be a "team sport," where kids rely on each other for safety and success. Skiing helps young people become very coachable and teachable, which is a skill that is important for success in school, jobs and life in general.

At NASTC, safety is #1 and it is our primary concern every step of the way. Children ski in small groups with NASTC's top instructors, ride chairlifts observing all safety precautions, and learn the rules of the mountain. Fun is #2! And there is lots of it! Coming away with newfound skills and improving their skiing (which they no doubt will do) is #3. Your young skier will focus on improving skills on the groomed then take it all over the mountain in terrain thrills to practice.
